                            PRAYER CHANGES THINGS

"Be joyful always; pray continually..." I Thessalonians5:16-17 (NIV)

There’s a woman in Jackson, Tennessee who’s home was wrecked during the 2003 tornadoes. She is a very special woman who works at a local BBQ restaurant that I frequented often. Every time I see Mary and ask “How ‘ya doing” her reply is “I’m blessed.” Her positive attitude and great spirit blesses me.Mary is in her 80’s and works in a local restaurant cleaning tables and keeping the condiments filled. She serves others and she’s blessed! ! !

Mary makes my day.  She is ALWAYS positive and cheerful. I'm sure it isn't easy working with the public and spending long hours on her feet Once I told her how much I was blessed by knowing her and how much I appreciated her positive attitude. “What’s your secret, Mary?” With a great big smile and gold teeth shining, she explained that it wasn’t a secret, “I just talk to God all day long."
